Hi Tina! My name is Renée (over in the homeschooling section), and I've got to say that the period in my life between my divorce and my remarriage was very difficult and lonely at times. It was tough, but joining things such as crochet class, playing in a band, etc... was the BEST thing for me. As you so succintly said--NO PITY PARTIES ON A REGULAR BASIS! Great article! Thanks! I've indulged in a few and found they weren't very productive. If I let myself have an hour or two, then I stop and say, "OK, what did that accomplish?" Absolutely nothing so I snap out of it.
