Hello Tina! My name is Gina-I was just entrigued/curious about this toic of 'Single parenting' that you have invited me to speak on. I guess a concern that single parent(s) may have is having a balance of role models for the child. For example; a single mom with son(s)...Who is the male role model?Is a male role model needed? And, how may a single mom find such a man. He doesnt have to be a boyfriend-he could easily be just a friend. For myself- I have a daughter--makes it easier because we are both girls n can both go into the ladies washroom, or swimming change room. ..Her male role models would be her uncles n my father, who are all exceptionally well-balanced,healthy men. BUT, what about the women who dont have such support????What can they do?? Do you think that it really matters if there is both male/female input into the upbringing of a child? I dont know..Im kind of tired right now-hopefully this all makes sense to you. My thoughts are a little jumbled right now. If U wish- please write me back.
