St. Patrick's Day is one hard holiday to celebrate. The majority of people celebrate with alcohol and stay out late, which isn't an easy task to do when young children are afoot. St. Patrick's Day Bread (aka Pistachio Bread)
1 18 oz white cake mix
4 eggs
1/4 c oil
1 c sour cream
1 3 oz box instant pistachio pudding
1/2 tsp almond extract
Mix all ingredients together. Pour into two greased loaf pans. Bake at 300 for 50 minutes. Cool on rack and turn out of pan. Enjoy!

2 c Vanilla Ice Cream
1 tsp Spearmint Extract
2-4 drops green food coloring
1 c milk
Pour in a blender and mix until smooth. Pour into two glasses and enjoy!

2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c sugar
Cream together and add:
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
drop green food coloring optional
Mix well and add:
3 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Mix until combined. Roll on floured surface and use shamrock cookie cutter. Place on ungreased tray and cook for 6-10 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove from tray and cool. Spread white or green frosting and add green sugar sprinkles.
